Learn to Meditate

Meditation is an essential spiritual practice for settling the mind and connecting with our true mind, which is clear, calm, and tranquil. Through meditation practice, we can better understand ourselves and appreciate more of the things and people around us as we meet them from a place of calmness, compassion, and wisdom.

Individual Meditation Instruction

If you cannot join our public gatherings or just prefer to take meditation instruction by yourself, our Reverends offer one-on-one, hour-long individualized instruction at the temple. There’s also the option of semi-private instruction with friends, family, or co-workers in pairs or small groups.

Individual Meditation classes are a great opportunity to focus on your specific needs or the needs of a couple or small group with similar interests and schedule. You can focus on your posture and breathing, you can learn tools to maintain focus, and you can explore the best way to bring a daily meditation practice into your life. Individual classes include sitting and chanting meditation practice along with Q & A.

Suggested donation: $30 

You and the Reverend will schedule a time and date together. When you contact us, please give us two or three-time slots that work for you.
